The Dialogues function in Sberbank Online now has cash postcards. These are images with animation and sound that the sender can affix to a money transfer. The user can choose a postcard from more than 50 options, including well-known characters of Soyuzmultfilm (Winnie-the-Pooh, Nu pogodi!), popular 90s artists, and fairy tale characters.

Head of Digital Platform Division of Sberbank Svyatoslav Ostrovsky:

“At the beginning of the year, we launched Dialogues in Sberbank Online. It is quickly gaining popularity: users can now communicate, send unique stickers with SberCat and transfer money in the chat. Now we can give clients something more: the possibility to give emotions to relatives and friends. That’s why we have created unique cash postcards and carefully included images of Russian culture in the digital environment.”

The postcards will be available to users of Sberbank Online for iPhone and Android from 1 October.

The updated Sberbank Online also has several new major improvements:

The app launches faster.
The main screen has useful Recommendations: financial advice, personal offers, and the app manual.
The main screen search can be used to look for contacts to transfer money to, organisations for payments and the bank’s products.
The updated Operation History shows a full transaction list, including purchases and money withdrawal.
Traffic fine payment has become more user-friendly: you can see new and paid fines, save data on your driver’s licence and vehicle ownership certificate, check the photo and place on the map.

37 mln clients actively use the Sberbank Online app. On average they launch the app more than once every two days. They make 13 mln transitions in the app every day.
