Dhanlaxmi Bank deploys Fis ATM technology

Fis (NYSE: FIS), the world's largest provider of banking and payments technology, today announced that Kerala-based Dhanlaxmi Bank has successfully deployed Fis' ATM switching and transaction processing services including ATM driving, card management and authorization, gateway services and bank host interface.

This newly deployed FIS solution set provides Dhanlaxmi Bank with a comprehensive solution for the ATM delivery channel, enabling its accountholders to perform transactions using their debit cards 24/7. Since the solution's deployment, Dhanlaxmi Bank has expanded its ATM network by adding more than 300 ATMs and introducing new products and services, such as secured Internet transactions and a mobile banking channel.

Founded in 1927, Dhanlaxmi Bank is one of India's fastest growing mid-size private sector banks, with a presence across India. Dhanlaxmi Bank's ATMs will join FIS' supported network of more than 3,000 ATMs in India.
