Temenos is also announcing the availability of T24 with Oracle Exadata in a combined, preconfigured core banking solution.

The high performance benchmark was conducted using Temenos' real-world banking simulation of 25 million accounts and utilised a full rack Oracle Exadata Database Machine in place of a "conventional' configuration of multiple server and storage racks. The benchmark demonstrates the ability of Oracle's Exadata platform to comfortably support the highest banking volumes for T24.

Temenos also announced that it will be extending the benefits of its packaged core banking software by offering clients Oracle hardware, including Oracle Exadata pre-configured to support their T24 implementation. The combination of hardware, database, platform software and core banking application helps reduce cost and risk for banks embarking on a legacy renewal programme. T24 configured with Oracle Exadata will enable medium -and large scale banks to take advantage of T24's rich, pre-packaged functionality, utilizing Oracle's highly efficient, secure and fault-tolerant Oracle Exadata platform.
