Travelex Global Business Payments, the world's leading cross-border payments specialist, has made two new senior additions to its Global Management Team over the last few months as it accelerates growth on the back of its recently launched GEO Global Clearing Network.

The appointments have been made to support Travelex's growth strategy in 2011 and are with immediate effect.

Using its award-winning payments platform GEO as a spearhead, Travelex Global Business Payments' worldwide growth programme is focussed on increasing sales in Asia Pacific and EMEA.

Andrew Wiseman now heads up Global Products & Marketing, where following him leading the launch of GEO in October, he is focusing on new product and marketing innovation. Andrew was previously the General Manager responsible for the Financial Services Division of Australia Post, among Australia's largest independent payments providers. Prior to this, he held senior positions at the John Lewis Group and American Express.

Nick Masterson-Jones joins as Chief Information Officer, where he will lead the development of Travelex's award-winning payments platform, GEO. Nick has held a broad range of roles in banking, risk management and IT and was previously Managing Director of Transaction services and Director of Information Technology at Vocalink, one of the world's largest specialist bank payment partners. He has over 25 years' management experience working at high profile financial institutions such as JP Morgan, UBS, Reuters and several major UK banks.

Travelex Global Business Payments provides businesses of all sizes a comprehensive range of payment and foreign exchange services including the payment and receipt of international funds. Travelex recently launched an award-winning payments platform, GEO. GEO's Global Clearing Network provides businesses with unique access to local country clearing systems (e.g. ACH and Faster Payments) in 40 countries worldwide.
