Global Payments Inc. (NYSE: GPN), a worldwide, world-class leader in electronic transaction processing solutions, today announced the appointment of Morgan (Mac) Schuessler to the position of Vice President, Marketing reporting to Global's Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Jeffery McWey.
In his new position, Schuessler will be responsible for the company's marketing functions including branding, marketing communications, public relations and new product marketing initiatives. Additionally, Schuessler will manage the company's business-to-business payments programs.
"Mac has extensive marketing and business experience, in addition to an outstanding track record in our industry, and we are delighted to have him join our management team," said McWey.
Most recently, Schuessler served as Vice President, Global Purchasing Solutions for American Express, where he managed strategic initiatives, marketing and product development to drive one of the fastest growing global businesses for the company. Schuessler additionally served as Vice President, U.S. Product Management and ePayments for American Express. Prior to joining American Express, Schuessler served with Wachovia BankCard Services. Schuessler holds a Bachelor's Degree from New York University and a Master's Degree from Emory University, Goizueta Business School.
