Trayport Limited, a GFI Group company and leading provider of multi-asset class electronic trading solutions, today announced that subsidiaries of Imarex ASA, the global commodity marketplace and clearer, have signed two new contracts to use Trayport's GlobalVision software.

The International Maritime Exchange ASA, the world's only regulated market for freight and bunker fuel oil derivatives, has extended its agreement with Trayport for the use of the GlobalVision Exchange Trading System until at least 2012.

Spectron Group, the regulated OTC energy and commodity broker, has signed a contract to extend its agreement with Trayport for the use of the GlobalVision Broker Trading System for a further five years until at least 2014.

"We are pleased to have signed long term agreements with Trayport, ensuring continuity of service for our customers," said Simon Davidson, Imarex ASA Chief Information Officer. "Hundreds of millions of dollars worth of energy, environmental products and commodities trade through our screens every day; GlobalVision is a tried and tested solution that is very capable of handling our large and growing volumes."

"Trayport and Spectron have worked together for the last 15 years and so we are pleased to announce both Imarex and Spectron's commitment to use GlobalVision software for at least a further three years," added Elliott Piggott, Managing Director at Trayport. "This deal reflects both companies' confidence in our GlobalVision product, and their dedication to the energy and freight trading sectors worldwide."
