Random Walk Computing, Inc., a leading provider of advanced technology solutions to the financial services industry, and ICAP announced today their continuing co-development and deployment of a dealer desktop trading front-end for the BrokerTec platform. Taking advantage of Sun's Java technology, the enhanced front-end provides the BrokerTec platform with an intuitive, flexible, configurable user interface, built on a code base that is easy to maintain and straightforward to modify. In addition, the newer configuration connects into and supports ICAP's primary fixed income trading platforms.

The trading front-end has been received extremely well and Random Walk continues to assist in developing user functionality. Jay Spencer, Chief Information Officer of ICAP said, "When we made the decision to enhance the BrokerTec trading front-ends last year, the Random Walk team provided us with the technical expertise and project management experience that secured the ultimate success of the initial phase of the project. Through the Random Walk relationship, we now have a more flexible, real-time trading front-end that supports our clients needs currently and for the foreseeable future."

"We are extremely pleased to have added ICAP to our list of clients," stated Joel Scotkin, President of Random Walk. "It has been and continues to be a tremendous experience working with ICAP," added Lloyd Altman, SVP, Director of Consulting at Random Walk. "They have a clear vision of where they want the BrokerTec platform to go, and we have established a great working model for planning and implementing features."
