Mosaic Software is to partner NCR to provide software for advanced ATM and self-service solutions.
Under the partnership, Mosaic is to integrate its Web-enabled transaction processing application, eSocket.ATM with NCR's self-service software Aptra Edge.
Aptra Edge enables users to deploy new products on terminals, without modifying underlying business applications. Users are also able to run a single application on a mixed vendor hardware base and apply tools and graphics to ATM programming.
The eSocket.ATM solution communicates transaction information to a central Mosaaic Postilion system, enabling advanced services like mobile pre-paid top-up, cheque printing and cashing. The system also supports technologies like EMV, 3DES and cheque deposit.
Andrew Marshman, strategic alliance manager, Mosaic Software, says the integrated solution is already in use in the US. He adds: "In Europe and the Middle East, we are sure that this technology is also of particular interest as we can provide solutions for EMV and 3DES at the same time."
Mosaic announced earlier this month that it had signed a resellers agreement with Diebold to market the Postilion EFT solution to customers in the US.
