Evolution Beeson Gregory, the investment banking business of Evolution Group (EVBG), has chosen Gresham Computing's Real-Time Dashboard to assist its risk control, performance management and regulatory reporting functions.
Initially, the package will provide management with an up-to-the-minute view of trading activity and profitability. Metrics may be analysed at group, business unit, and individual desk or stock level.
Tim Valmas, director of operations and IT at EVBG, said: "The Real-Time Dashboard allows us to be far more responsive to events; we can control operations more effectively, better manage risk, liquidity and compliance. Currently we concentrate much of our reporting on end-of-day information. For an operation of our size this offers substantial benefits."
The Dashboard applications has been implemented at Evolution in conjunction with City consultants NorthPoint Solutions.
