JPMorgan has signed up to TradeWeb's commercial paper (CP) dealer group enabling the bank to post its CP inventories on the online trading platform.
The addition of JPMorgan to the TradeWeb CP dealer group brings the total number of group participants to eight, including Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and Salomon Smith Barney.
TradeWeb's CP platform enables institutional money managers to search online through the commingled inventories of participating dealers and purchase a CP offering from a single screen.
JPMorgan also participates on TradeWeb as a market maker for the US Treasuries, Agencies and TBA-MBS platforms, as well as the Euro Sovereign platform operated by TradeWeb Europe.
