Deutsche Börse upgrades Internet services

Deutsche Börse is to upgrade its Internet channel to provide a central interface for its customers and improve sales distribution.

The Frankfurt exchange will restructure its Internet services by pooling resources for trading participants, private and institutional investors, issuers and data vendors into one corporate centre. This will function as a service provider for the individual business units.

Deutsche Börse will also integrate its Web site with the investment portal neuermarkt.com, so that via the corporate data online interface, users will be able to access company profiles, information about company management and shareholder structures. Information on price data, indices, market reports, news, analyses, commentary, sample portfolios and a training centre will also be available.

After the content migration, which is to be completed this year, neuermarkt.com as an independent Web site will be discontinued. Private investors will then find detailed information on the fully integrated portal of Deutsche Börse.

In October, Deutsche Börse launched its new "Listing Centre" which offers a central communications and e-processing interface for IPOs.
