ING Direct customers in the US can now view their monthly statements electronically via the bank's Web site.
The e-statement service gives consumers the option to completely replace paper statements and review their account transaction details over the Web.
Accessible behind a password-protected site, e-statements are viewable and downloadable via a PDF file, for a minimum of five years. To enroll, customers select the e-statements option on the bank's Web site. At the beginning of each month users receive an e-mail alerting them that their statement is live on the site.
