Google Wallet gets order tracking feature

13 March 2014  |  3545 views  |  0 Google wallet card

Google has updated its Android and iOS Wallet apps to enable shoppers to automatically track their online orders.

Once users activate 'orders' in Google Wallet they can see any receipt sent to their Gmail account from within the app. The search giant has also teamed with the US's major package carriers so that when order statuses are updated, customers are notified through Wallet.

The latest version of Wallet also promises to make it easier to see order history and details of what customers have purchased all in one place. Users can view the products ordered, merchant contact information, and shipping details in the app. In addition, with a single click, a call or e-mail can be placed to the retailer.
