FXall hires new CTO in global recruitment drive

Multi-bank foreign exchange trading portal FXall has recruited Citigroup's Minor Huffman as its new chief technology officer (CTO). The appointment is one of 22 new hires that FXall has made across its technology, sales, customer service and regional management groups.

In his new role Huffman will be responsible for the design, implementation and operations of FXall's technology platforms. This includes the new FX ECN Accelor, which was launched earlier this year.

Minor has 17 years of experience and was most recently director and head of technology for equity options market making, order routing and trading at Citigroup. Prior to this he worked at JP Morgan.

Minor is one of three senior appointments to the FXall management team. FXall has also appointed Jim Kwiatkowski as head of sales for the Americas and Asoka Markandu as general manager for FXall in Asia.

Kwiatkowski joins FXall from FutureTrade where he led the global sales, services and marketing functions. Previously he worked in financial technology at Bridge and Reuters. At FXall he will be responsible for the distribution of products in the Americas, both directly and through partnerships with third parties.

Markandu most recently worked at Reuters Asia, where he was in a variety of sales, marketing, and product management roles in Singapore and Mumbai. He has also held roles at Citibank and Andersen Consulting.

In addition to the senior management posts FXall has made 19 other appointments across its sales, customer services and technology teams and its regional management groups in New York, London, Singapore, Boston and Tokyo.
