Brokers, buy-side organizations and vendors can now expand their operations more efficiently and effectively thanks to the launch of a new global Managed Hosting, Co-Location and Connectivity service from Transaction Network Services (TNS).

The single source solution, which offers a complete one-stop-shop for all remote data space and connectivity requirements, aims to reduce complexity for financial market participants and provide a lower cost option to managing these services themselves.

Alex Walker, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of TNS’ Financial Services Division, said: “One of the industry’s biggest growth inhibitors for financial organizations trading in the global markets is the complex and challenging task of expanding an electronic trading infrastructure into new venues and countries.

“Our Managed Hosting, Co-Location and Connectivity service eliminates the need for clients to undertake the procurement, staging and managing processes associated with this expansion, enabling them to focus their key resources on their core trading activities.”

The TNS service is available globally in any of the 125 locations where TNS has a point-of-presence and includes locating resources, procuring facilities and hardware, project management, system installation, testing and commissioning.

A variety of options are available including shared rack and dedicated full rack space, scalable power to match hardware needs and the ability to choose a preferred operating system. Local and international connections are available, as well as low latency connectivity with on-net connections delivered within 3 days.

Mr Walker added: “The real benefit of this new service lies in its flexibility. Deployments can easily be adapted to support our clients as they grow and their needs evolve. The global marketplace continues to shift and new markets regularly emerge. Buy-side organizations using our Managed Hosting, Co-Location and Connectivity service will have the ability to capitalize on these opportunities quickly, with server hardware built to specific client specifications and just a small operational cost to set up.

“With over 2 decades of experience serving the financial markets, we understand the importance of delivering services quickly and efficiently. Users of this new service can be assured that their remote data center facilities and connectivity services are being handled by a trusted, renowned and established specialist.”

Optimized for electronic trading, TNS’ robust secure network is relied on by the global financial markets for mission-critical connectivity to multiple diverse trading partners, including those in emerging markets across the Americas, Asia and Europe. TNS brings together an extensive global financial community of interest with over 1,900 endpoints, including many of the world’s most prominent and influential buy and sell-side institutions, market data and software vendors, exchanges and alternative trading venues.

TNS offers support for a full range of asset classes, as well as eCommerce and FIX connectivity, and its services are supported by 24x7x365 monitoring and helpdesk support.
