LiquidityBook, a leading ASP-based provider of buy- and sell-side and OMS and FIX trading solutions, today announced the appointment of Sean Sullivan as Chief Revenue Officer.

Mr. Sullivan, who will report directly to co-founders Kevin Samuel and Rick Goldenberg, will be responsible for the firm’s sales and business development strategy globally.

Mr. Sullivan brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial technology industry to the firm. Most recently he served as Chief Revenue Officer for REDI Global Technologies, a leading trade management platform provider. Prior to that, he was Head of Global Sales for Eze Software Group, and was also a member of the firm’s executive committee. Mr. Sullivan began his career at Bridge Information Systems, where he eventually became EVP of Sales.

“Sean is a proven financial technology industry leader, and we’re thrilled to be able to add him to the team,” said Samuels, CEO of LiquidityBook. “He brings a tremendous amount of experience, as well as a proven track record in helping firms like ours take their business to the next level, which we believe we’re poised to do.”

“By providing a genuine ASP offering since inception, LiquidityBook offers a truly unique product that blends powerful technology with rich functionality at a price point that can dramatically reduce the trading stack’s total cost of ownership on both the buy- and sell-side,” said Sullivan. “The company’s top line revenues grew 66% in 2015, with the bulk of the new business coming from legacy OMS displacement. There’s no reason to think that growth of this level can’t continue given the strength of the platform and the clear market opportunity at hand.”
