Mozido, a global provider of trusted digital commerce and payment solutions, today announced that R. Todd Bradley has joined the company as chief executive officer effective immediately.

“Mozido is thrilled to have Todd Bradley join the company as CEO,” said Michael Liberty, founder of Mozido. “His experience in building successful organizations, especially in the mobile handheld space and within emerging markets like China, enables him to contribute immediately to Mozido’s success in delivering digital commerce and payment solutions globally using mobile phones.”

Mozido has raised over $275M of institutional capital in the past 24 months, expanded into China, Africa, and India, and added blue-chip clients providing access to their 1.5 billion subscribers. These achievements position Mozido to capture the enormous opportunity to digitize payment and marketing services using mobile phones, especially for the more than two billion unbanked adults worldwide.

“I’m very excited to join Mozido and contribute to its rapidly expanding presence in the global payments and solutions market,” Bradley said. “I share Mozido’s passion to improve lives by using mobile phones to bring an entirely new class of services in payments, remittances and greater financial control and security to the millions of individuals in the world. The prospects for additional growth are tremendous, and I look forward to working with the Mozido team and its visionary founder Michael Liberty to continue with Mozido’s strategic expansion.”

Bradley joins Mozido from TIBCO Software where he served as president of the Silicon Valley business software concern since June 2014. At TIBCO, Bradley held global responsibility for customer-facing functions, such as sales, marketing and professional services. Prior to TIBCO, Bradley worked for Hewlett-Packard where he served in various capacities from 2005-2014, including executive vice-president of the largest operating unit, the Printing and Personal Systems Group, which was a $60 billion annual business.

Bradley has a 30-year management career, having held senior roles at GE Capital Corp., The Dun & Bradstreet Corp., Gateway Corp., FedEx Corp. and palmOne. Prior to joining HP, Bradley was chief executive officer of palmOne, where he led a successful turnaround of that company and established a new category of mobile devices for the industry. Bradley holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Towson University in Maryland.
