Payworks, the leading provider of a processing platform for integrated POS solutions and Miura Systems, the manufacturer of the most successful mobile POS payment terminals in the market, strengthen their relationship to give payment providers faster access to Miura’s EMV and NFC payment terminals together with payworks’ fully certified mobile POS gateway.

The solution is targeted at payment providers as a fast way to deploy Miura devices and is available as a white label service in Europe, the U.S.A., and globally.

The closer partnership between Miura and payworks is the next step towards making its combined solution available to an even wider audience. Miura’s EMV and NFC mPOS devices, used by 75% of the market-leading mPOS providers, are specifically designed to respond to the most profound challenges at the point of interaction in mobile and physical stores, significantly improving customer experience. Miura has deployed approaching 1 million devices in over 40 countries, with demand for a considerable increase in this number in 2015 and beyond.

Mark Roberts, SVP Sales & Marketing of Miura Systems: “As a provider of electronic payment hardware, Miura Systems is looking forward to continue working with payworks to drive further innovation in the mPOS space. payworks have always taken a very agile approach to delivering solutions and have been at the forefront of integration with ground-breaking companies such as Miura Systems.”

payworks, provider of the leading mobile POS platform on the market, has a wide range of clients already working with Miura devices, including ConCardis, SIX Payment Services and Orderbird. payworks was the first company to receive all contactless certifications by Visa (payWave) and Mastercard (PayPass) for the Miura M010 device, making it available to payment providers globally. The solution also accepts NFC-based payments from mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and the recently announced Samsung Pay.

“payworks is excited to be working closer with Miura Systems and to explore the opportunities opening up by this relationship,” added Christian Deger, co-founder & CEO of payworks. “As an end-to-end solution, Miura’s devices and payworks’ payment infrastructure can ensure both POS excellence and a maximum of speed and flexibility for everybody aiming to deploy an integrated POS solution.”

Acquirers and ISOs can deploy this end-to-end mobile POS solution with Miura’s mPOS devices saving time on integration effort and gaining access to payworks’ white label payment acceptance application, a cloud-based merchant dashboard, an automated merchant onboarding tool as well as the hosted processing gateway with terminal management to be connected to the respective Acquirer or Processor. Additionally payworks provides white label mobile SDKs equipping Acquirers and ISOs to seamlessly work with third party integrators.

Retailers and integrators can also take advantage of this combined proposition by choosing payworks’ easy-to-implement SDKs to connect with both the Miura devices and the payworks processing gateway directly linked to the Acquirer of their choice. Miura devices have already been certified by payworks with more than nine Acquirers in different countries, including Barclaycard, Elavon, SIX Payment Services, Concardis, American Express and Credorax, offering clients the freedom to choose according to their preferences.
