SIA signs agreement with JCB International to manage Italian payment transactions

SIA, a company specializing in the management of electronic payments, and JCB International Co., Ltd (JCBI), a major global payment brand operating in 190 countries around the world, have signed a five-year agreement for the processing of payment transactions of JCB merchants in Italy through the SIA technology platform.

The agreement reached with SIA will enable JCBI to consolidate even further its international presence and the acceptance network for the JCB cards issued outside Italy. In addition to the newly managed Italian merchants, SIA is already delivering the same processing services to JCBI in other European countries.

The SIA platform guarantees compliance with the most recent Italian and European regulations on calculation of fees, and due to its advanced multi-currency and multi-country features, enabling the complete management of the merchant, from the authorization process to acceptance of the transaction, from reporting services to account settlement, all in total compliance with the international data security standards relating to debit and credit cards (PCI-DSS).
