BBVA Compass is putting financial know-how at consumers' fingertips with its recent launch of two online destinations — MoneyFit and Great Ideas for Small Business — for those in search of information and advice on personal finance and small business topics.

The two are vivid representations of BBVA Compass' new brand tagline, "banking on a brighter future," which gives voice to the bank's push to give people better control of their financial lives through advice and services. MoneyFit is for those seeking help managing various life stages, like preparing for retirement or gearing up to buy a home, while Great Ideas for Small Business is directed toward small business owners in search of information to help them build or run their businesses successfully.

"People experience different stages throughout their lives, but a constant in each is money," said Steve Creel, director of web and mobile for BBVA Compass. "BBVA Compass wants to help people through all of them, providing assistance and education along the way that reduces anxiety and helps simplify their lives. MoneyFit and Great Ideas for Small Business are big pieces of our outreach."

Each is populated with hundreds of articles that are organized by topic. MoneyFit features articles on savings and budgeting; credit management; homeownership; family and career; and retirement. Great Ideas for Small Business articles are grouped by leadership, growth and operations. Both are updated each week with new, original content, and all content can be shared via direct link to social media.

"Our goal with MoneyFit is to make practical financial advice and education available to as many people as possible," said BBVA Compass SEO and Content Marketing Strategist Amy Baker Johnson. "In the same way, we're tapping into what we know our clients are asking our Small Business team and putting the answers out there for a broader audience to benefit from so they can also succeed in this fast-paced economic climate."

The bank partnered with writers and infographic artists to create MoneyFit and Great Ideas for Small Business.
