Both appointments come at an exciting time for Wincor Nixdorf as its innovative end-to-end IT solutions are at the forefront of transforming the way that retail banks manage their IT and interact with their consumers.

Broadbent brings over 25 years' experience of working in the financial services industry to this role. Prior to joining Wincor Nixdorf, he was VP Strategy and Channel Development at Fiserv where he was responsible for the development and evolution of the international strategy. Before Fiserv he held roles with a financial institution and an IT solutions provider. Broadbent takes on this role from Paul Fisher, President, Wincor Nixdorf UK & Ireland and Managing Director, Services, who had been covering the role on an interim basis since April 2014.

Mahon joins from SAP (UK&I) where he held various senior roles, most recently holding the role of Sales Director, Field Services. Prior to this Mahon held the role of UK&I Head of Banking for Sun Microsystems Professional Services following 17 years' of experience within the industry. Mahon's deep understanding of banking from both a vendor and an end user perspective will prove invaluable as Wincor Nixdorf looks to develop its Banking Division. This new appointment highlights Wincor Nixdorf's commitment to continued excellence within its Professional Services offering and underpins its plans for strategic growth within this area.

Both Broadbent and Mahon will focus on leading Wincor Nixdorf UK & Ireland's Banking team as the company continues to expand its footprint in the region. Their appointments strengthen Wincor Nixdorf's leadership in this region and gives it a strong platform to continue to grow over the coming years.
