For many of us, choosing the mobile device that works best is not black or white. There are specific things we need our smartphones to do for us - it could be based on our location, our daily job responsibilities or certain functionality that will make our lives easier.

And, IDC even predicted that there would be 1.4 billion shipments of smartphones worldwide in 2015, so it's safe to say we're not all using the same smartphones.

But no matter what smartphone you're using, you're probably looking for an easier and more secure way to shop and pay. The good news is we understand this. That's why we're excited today to introduce the PayPal app for BlackBerry in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia, with more markets to come in the future. The app is now compatible with the BlackBerry Q10, BlackBerry Z10, and the new BlackBerry Classic smartphone. What's even cooler? With this announcement you can now use the PayPal app on all major mobile platforms, including Android™, iOS®, Windows® Phone, Fire OS™ and of course BlackBerry.

The PayPal app for BlackBerry lets you do things like quickly send and request money, as well as check your balance and see recent activity while on the go. You can locate and redeem offers at participating businesses and check-in to pay at your some of your favorite places that accept PayPal. You can even manage your digital wallet, including the ability to add loyalty cards so you don't have to carry them around and manage your credit and debit cards from the app.

At PayPal, we've focused on putting the buying power back in your hands, and this is only possible if you can access us no matter what platform you're using. You can download the PayPal app for BlackBerry now on BlackBerry® World™.
