Information about corporate actions, such as stock splits, mergers and acquisitions, help market participants make investment decisions. To help ensure that data feeds from Markit are compliant with ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 standards, Markit’s Corporate Actions service uses C24 to validate the SWIFT messages it sends to customers. Specifically, C24 validates Markit’s MT564 and MT568 messages and auto splits large MT564 messages into smaller components. Today, Markit transmits corporate actions data to 80 customers up to 15 times per day.
