Objectway Financial Software NV, announced today that Desjardins Securities (Montreal) has implemented a new strategic deployment model-which includes portfolio, client relationship, client reporting and order management functions--based on Objectway's OFS eXimius Portfolio Manager suite in a fully vendor-hosted and vendor-managed service environment.

Desjardins Securities--the brokerage firm of Desjardins Group, the largest cooperative financial group in Canada--was looking for a flexible, scalable and reliable platform to support its continuously growing business, while increasing its overall organisational efficiency.

By choosing the fully serviced OFS eXimius Portfolio Manager software solution, the firm benefited from a flexible and fully integrated suite combined with industry-strength application managed services, such as initial configuration, daily data ingestion, system monitoring & maintenance, and software upgrades. Complete security and business continuity is assured through certified data centers with full disaster recovery. Product life cycle updates and enhancements aligned to the market trends and regulatory context provide Desjardins  with a state-of-the-art and future-proof service.

"Desjardins is a long-standing client of Objectway's OFS eXimius Portfolio Manager in the North American market," said Kurt Vanhee, Director Client Services.  "Providing our solution in a worry-free ASP (application service provider) model for our client creates a winning combination from a business as well as a functional perspective. We are committed to providing Desjardins with the excellent support that a true long-term partner should deliver for a world-class platform."
