Ukash, the leading online cash payment provider, is giving UK consumers greater choice by extending its partnership with beCharge, the loading and top-up website for prepaid cards and mobiles.

Now, for the first time British shoppers can buy Ukash online, which can then be used to purchase Ukash voucher codes for e-commerce and gaming transactions as well as top up the Ukash Prepaid MasterCard. Ukash and beCharge have been working together in Belgium, Spain, France, Netherlands and Luxembourg for a number of years, and the addition of the UK reflects the continued focus of Ukash to enable social inclusion for consumers wherever they are in the world.

Developed to enable cash consumers to shop online and protect their personal identity and financial information when making online transactions, shopping with Ukash reduces the threat of credit and debit card fraud for consumers. Ukash codes can be purchased with cash in retail outlets such as shops, petrol stations and kiosks as well as online, via beCharge. The unique 19 digit codes can then be used to pay directly on any of the thousands of websites that accept Ukash transactions worldwide, or loaded onto prepaid cards or e-wallets.

Designed for consumers who want to control their spend or who are concerned about online fraud, the new Ukash Prepaid MasterCard card is available to anyone regardless of their credit status, and can be used instantly in its online form wherever MasterCard acceptance mark is displayed. And supported by a mobile app, uploading of funds with a Ukash code is quick and easdd easy. Plus cardholders can check transactions and balances while they are out and about.

beCharge accept payments for Ukash through Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards and with Ukash becoming the latest addition to the site, the company now accepts payments to 80 European mobile phone networks and more than 300 non-European mobile networks via prepaid and internet loads and top-ups.
