The Avaloq group, an international leader in integrated and comprehensive solutions for wealth management, universal and retail banks, today announces that Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank will replace its current online banking presence with the Avaloq front solutions.

Following Luzerner Kantonalbank and Banca dello Stato del Cantone Ticino, Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank is the third cantonal bank to opt for the solutions based on the Avaloq Front Platform.

Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB) will replace its existing online banking system with the Avaloq front solutions after a period of transition. The solutions include web banking, mobile banking and external asset management capabilities. BLKB profits from short innovation cycles, a seamless integration into the Avaloq Banking Suite and the openness of the Avaloq Front Platform for own and third party innovations.

Following Luzerner Kantonalbank and Banca dello Stato del Cantone Ticino, BLKB has become the third cantonal bank in less than a year to choose Avaloq for its front solutions. With these three new customers Avaloq has become one of the premium partners for Swiss cantonal banks in the front area within short time. With its range of solutions covering the back, middle and front office of a bank, Avaloq is ideally positioned for further growth in this market segment.

Simon Leumann, COO at BLKB, summarises: "The online banking solution from Avaloq means customer centricity at its best. We will offer our clients a state of the art online banking experience that addresses all their needs and requirements. With the Avaloq Front Platform we invest in an integrated IT architecture to add new online services in the future and thus further improve our clients' multichannel banking experience."
