Capco, a global business and technology consultancy dedicated solely to the financial services industry, today announced the appointment of Steve Vinnicombe as the new UK CEO.

Steve will be responsible for driving additional growth across Capco's UK business, building on the company's already strong relationships with global financial institutions. Based in London, Steve will focus on helping clients meet immediate challenges particularly around regulatory compliance and cost transformation.

Steve replaces Andrew Tarver, who has founded a new venture called BOLDROCKET™, focused on the needs of the end customer. BOLDROCKET is already working with a number of high profile clients to drive forward their end customer strategy, using new disruptive technologies, in partnership with the start-up community.

Steve said, "I am proud to be taking on this role and building on the success that Andrew has achieved. Capco's UK business is evolving and has enjoyed double-digit growth for the past three years, consistently outperforming the consulting industry averages. A priority will be to continue to make Capco a great place to work, sustaining the culture that has won us a place on The Sunday Times '100 Best Companies to Work For' list for the past three years."

Peter Schurau, Capco's European CEO, said, "Steve's wealth of experience and knowledge made him the obvious choice for the role. Having been a Partner since 2010, he has been an exemplary leader in the UK. He has spearheaded some of the region's most complex projects and built significant and strategic senior client relationships. As Capco continues to expand, I will look to Steve and the UK team to provide support to other areas of growth such as our Asia-Pacific business."

Capco's growth is visibly evident as the company is relocating its London office to substantially larger premises in the City. The move took place in April with Capco's new offices located in The Bryant Building, 77-79 Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch, EC2.
