Acquirer Systems, the market leader in enterprise test and validation solutions for the payments industry, today announced that it has been qualified by Discover Financial Services to supply D-Payment Application Specification (D-PAS) EMV certification test cards for Discover Network and Diners Club International acquirer testing.

Fergal Molloy, CEO of Acquirer Systems, says, "The qualification for Acquirer Systems to supply Discover Financial Services Certification Test Cards for Discover and Diners Club International is part of our commitment to support Discover's business both in the US and worldwide. Our mission is to help its global customer base to maximize the opportunity presented by EMV and to improve the end consumer payments experience"

With this qualification, Discover and Diners Club International acquirers, merchants and industry partners can now source certified D-PAS test cards directly from Acquirer Systems using a simple and straightforward online ordering process. The D-PAS test cards are used to confirm POS terminal compliance during the D-PAS testing and certification process. The certification cards are based on the latest D-PAS 2.2 card image specification.

Ed Mastrangelo, Head of US Operations at Acquirer Systems says, "Our Discover-certified test card package means US retailers can quickly confirm whether their POS terminal infrastructure is ready to accept and transact using Discover D-PAS enabled chip cards"

Discover operates the Discover Network, with millions of merchant and cash access locations; PULSE, one of the nation's leading ATM/debit networks; and Diners Club International, a global payments network with acceptance in more than 185 countries and territories.
