With immediate effect Servebase will now be legally known as PXP. Since being acquired in 2011 Servebase has been determined to transform the business into an ambitious and innovative challenger within the global payments market.
With significant investment over the last three years the organisation is now primed for growth and scalability, which will assist customers in achieving their own business objectives. Therefore, it is logical that in moving into the next phase a new company name was required to reflect the new values, culture, uniqueness and offerings to the payments market.
The new name PXP was born out of a simple equation of the core components that are central to what the business is all about: people multiplied by platform, delivers intelligent payment solutions that allow customers to gain strategic advantage for their businesses.
Ritz Steytler, CEO commented; "The new brand is launched today, Friday 14th February 2014 as, for those of you that can remember, it is the eighth year anniversary of the UK mandate for PIN usage on Chip and PIN. We've chosen this date, because we believe the launch of PXP is the biggest thing to happen to payments since then.
"PXP remains an independent player with a clear point of view and a desire to show global businesses that payment processing isn't merely a necessary and costly transaction at the end of the sales process, but a source of strategic advantage: building stronger customer relationships, providing greater efficiency of operations and enabling significant growth.
"We believe there is more to payments than getting paid and offer a no nonsense, honest approach to harnessing the real value of payment technologies while delivering solutions that make life simpler for our customers."
