BI-SAM, a leading provider of performance measurement and attribution, risk analytics, composites management and client reporting solutions for the global asset management industry, today announced the appointment of Richard Irons as Executive Director Europe.

Mr. Irons is a highly experienced executive with extensive sales and account management experience, and a track record of success spanning 25 years in the Finance and Banking sectors. At BI-SAM, Mr. Irons will lead the company's Business Development and Account Management activities in Europe, where he will focus on ensuring BI-SAM continues to provide outstanding products and services to its growing client base.

Mr. Irons joins BI-SAM from NYSE Euronext, where he was Sales Director for NYSE Technologies. Prior to that, he held senior sales and client relationship roles with Bloomberg, SunGard Global Trading, Thomson Reuters and Cable & Wireless.

"BI-SAM is a rare exception in the business world. All too often the twin goals of business expansion and client service excellence prove incompatible. By contrast, BI-SAM continues to marry ambitious plans for developing and growing its global business with an unwavering commitment to outstanding client service," said Mr. Irons. "I look forward to leading the exceptional account management team at BI-SAM as we seek to further enhance the experience clients enjoy."

"Richard's appointment is part of the continued investment BI-SAM is making in client servicing and relationship management, as we strive to provide the highest quality products and services we can to our clients," said Sami Juma, Managing Director Sales and Client Operations. "Richard is an exceptionally talented and dedicated professional. He brings a wealth of leadership and deep client relationship experience to BI-SAM, and will be a valuable addition to our executive team."

Mr. Irons will be based in BI-SAM's London office.
