Socialware today announced that it will support ING U.S. with an enterprise-wide deployment of Socialware's social media management platform built for regulated industries.

This solution will enable ING U.S. employees and the more than 2,400 advisors affiliated with its registered broker-dealer to use social media to build relationships and share content while remaining compliant with the firm's policies.

Socialware was selected after an extensive search for a provider that offered data security, compliance enforcement capabilities and the ability to integrate with highly-matrixed and sophisticated technology systems. Socialware will complement the technology deployment with its Professional Services team, which offers onboarding support and strategy for advisors.

Socialware is built for organizations that need to support hundreds of employees on social as well as the many financial advisors who own the direct relationship with the client. It's the job of the organization to support these employees by supplying them with relevant content and campaigns that they can share with their social networks in order to nurture relationships.

But it's also critical, particularly in a regulated industry like financial services, that the organization be able to establish and maintain compliance controls over what an employee is able to do on social. With Socialware, financial services companies can enable their relationship owners to have a presence on social without worrying about adhering to compliance policies and industry regulations. Because Socialware was built for the enterprise, it's built to scale and offers the security and implementation measures IT requires for an enterprise deployment.

"We're thrilled to be awarded this opportunity to help ING U.S. as it continues to build out its social program," said Ken Naumann, Socialware CEO. "This is a great example of a company recognizing all the constituents in the social process and collaborating with a trusted partner to help deploy a very robust, compliant and leading edge enterprise-wide platform."
