Online wealth management firm Nutmeg scores investment

Nigel Wray, chairman of Saracens rugby club and well-known entrepreneur, has made a significant investment in online wealth management company Nutmeg.

Nigel joins Nutmeg with an impressive track record of investing in and developing successful organisations across a range of sectors, particularly the investment, property, fund, media and sport industries.

Nick Hungerford, CEO and co-founder of Nutmeg, revealed his delight at the agreement: "Nigel brings considerable experience of building, expanding and managing financial services businesses. Well known for his association with Saracens, Nigel has also been instrumental in the success of many other organisations. He has held directorships and significant shareholdings in companies such as Domino's Pizza, Singer & Friedlander Group and Carlton Communications, and has been a non-executive shareholder director of People's Phone Company, Networkers, Skyepharma, Chorion and Urbium.
