Barclays signs Specialist Holidays Group to Pingit

Specialist Holidays Group (SHG), part of TUI Travel PLC is making it even easier for consumers to pay for their holidays by simply using their mobile phone.

The group of specialist brands is the first tour operator to offer customers the option to pay via Barclays Pingit, providing a quick, easy and secure way to settle those all important holiday bookings.

With consumers increasingly using smartphones and tablets to shop and make purchases, by using Barclays Pingit, Specialist Holidays Group customers can pay for holiday bookings whenever and wherever they are. The app is free to download and can be used by anyone who has a UK mobile number and a UK bank account.

This is the start of SHG's journey with Barclays Pingit as the group explores ways to offer their customers innovative mobile payment solutions.
