Jack Henry & Associates Banking® division announced today that North Carolina-based NewDominion Bank and Georgia-based First National Bank of Coffee County have both selected its SilverLake System® core processing platform to provide enterprise-wide automation through Jack Henry Banking's outsourced offering, JHA OutLink Processing Services™.

According to Marc Bogan, president and chief operating officer of NewDominion Bank, "The decision to make a core system change, which inherently has enterprise-wide impact, is not one any banker makes lightly. We had reached the point that our bank simply needed more technology to support our growth and business strategy and to aggressively and successfully compete in a very dynamic market. The goals for our evaluation were to provide a long-term technology platform, to find one company that could support the vast majority of our technology requirements, and to establish a true partnership rather than just having a technology provider. We found all this with Jack Henry Banking and SilverLake. After our selection committee's due diligence and unanimous vote, we are convinced SilverLake has the contemporary functionality, the integrated complementary solutions, and the ability to expedite our time-to-market with competitive technologies, products, and services. SilverLake simply provides the best functionality for our bank and Jack Henry Banking demonstrated it genuinely wanted to partner with our business.

Dale Morris, president and chief executive officer of First National Bank of Coffee County, said, "We made the decision to find a new technology partner that has a solid industry reputation based on company and financial stability, a history of establishing integrity-based business relationships, the ability to deliver sophisticated and fully integrated products and services, and a fundamental commitment to provide outstanding and consistent service. Our evaluation process proved that Jack Henry Banking is the best fit for our bank. The satisfaction among existing SilverLake users and the endorsements by banks similar to ours in size and business strategy also played an extremely important role in our selection process. We are excited about the benefits a new SilverLake-based technology platform will provide for our customers, our employees, and our bank."

Stan Viner, general manager of sales for Jack Henry Banking, said, "We are excited to add these two growth-focused community banks to the roster of more than 400 banks already entrusting their information and transaction processing to SilverLake. We are now working closely with these banks to deliver seamless conversions and implementations, and will leverage our company's core competencies to deliver the ongoing service levels that exceed their expectations, and the proven and ever-advancing functionality they need to optimize their business strategies."
