ESignal, an Interactive Data company and leading provider of real-time desktop solutions for professional and individual traders, today announced the launch of eSignal Mobile, a companion to the eSignal desktop.

Available initially through an iPad application, eSignal Mobile offers anywhere, anytime access for active traders.

The changing dynamics of workplace mobility and advances in technology have made mobile access to real-time information a necessity for traders. Mobile applications continue to increase in importance as a means of providing instant access to the exchanges and services available on the desktop, without additional exchange fees.

With eSignal Mobile, traders can access real-time, streaming information on markets, watch lists, charting, and analytical tools for use on the road, at home and wherever else the iPad travels. Traders can enjoy the intuitive user experience already familiar to millions of iPad users globally. Also, traders that add eSignal Mobile to their account will automatically get access to QuoTrek Mobile, which runs on the iPhone, BlackBerry and most Android smartphones.

"As we begin to build a new generation of mobile products, our extension of eSignal onto the iPad and other tablets helps ensure that our customers have a platform that moves with them," said Kyle Ford, General Manager, eSignal. "eSignal Mobile utilizes HTML5, which will serve as an important standard for future mobile products for tablets and smartphones."

eSignal Mobile features robust window and data entitlement control. The same eSignal account is used to log on to desktop and mobile devices, ensuring that a user is only logged in to eSignal on one device at any given time. This feature enables traders to view on their mobile device the same data and news they can access on the desktop and can help to mitigate the risk of being liable for dual exchange data usage and associated fees.
