With over 400 customers and 2,500 active trading links in 17 domiciles Calastone routes over £12 billion of fund transactions per month through its global network. With its global expansion Calastone is an enabler of domestic and cross border funds STP.

The decision to open a new office in Zurich allows Calastone to provide a local presence to the Swiss market, in line with its business model of providing support to domestic as well as cross-border funds.

As part of the business strategy to develop the Swiss market, Calastone has appointed Vittorio L. Pujatti to the management team, who joins as Director of Swiss Sales & Business Development. With more than 25 years in high-level sales and managerial experience in the Swiss and International securities firms, and financial investments houses - including Head of US-Equity Proprietary team at UBS Investment Bank in Zurich, Managing Director/Branch Manager at Instinet Schweiz (AG) and CIO of VGP -Vittorio adds significant experience and capability to Calastone's European presence.
