The Society announced at the end of the year it had collaborated with i-design Group to help make repetitive ATM transactions quicker and easier by introducing an automatic favourites option.

The new function which will save customers time and energy when using an ATM has been rolled out across the Society's entire ATM estate of over 2,000 machines.

Adrian Roberts, Head of ATMs and Branch Design at Nationwide commented:

"Reaching the 3 million transaction mark on the favourites ATM function is a clear indicator that people like this tool and that is has value to them. It makes a repetitive process quicker and easier. It's a win win for customers."

Favourites Function

The new ATM favourites function means customers will be presented with their most used transactions automatically once they have entered their pin. The tool also adapts to a customer's changing transactional habits enabling the favourite transaction function to retain its relevance as time goes on.
