UMB Bank issues Dynamics' ePlate 'experience' credit cards

UMB Bank, a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation (UMBF), in alliance with Dynamics Inc., announces the launch of ePlateTM.

This first-to-market credit card allows brands, retailers, non-profit organizations or entertainers the opportunity to offer consumers a unique reward, or experience, they can only earn by using an ePlate credit card.

When a company becomes an ePlate Experience™ Provider, they expose consumers to a "rewards offer" that goes above and beyond what any other company is doing. Currently, companies and organizations with traditional rewards cards offer consumers the opportunity to earn "things." But with ePlate, they can reward consumers with unique experiences which create a better way for brands to build loyalty and a priceless connection with the consumer.

"This 'first-to-market' credit card was developed to give companies a way to drive stronger engagement with consumers, essentially making them brand loyalists," said George Schmelzel, senior vice president of UMB Payment Solutions. "And since the experience a company offers will be exclusive to the ePlate card, cardholders gain something from the company's brand that they can't find anywhere else."

Using the online ExperienceTM Manager software, the cardholder can go online at any time to personalize their rewards preferences from a wide array of experiences offered by consumer brands, retailers, charitable organizations, entertainers, etc. And when a purchase is made using ePlate, the consumer receives real-time, tangible rewards in the form of unique giveaways and exclusive experiences.
