MSCI confirms IPD acquisition talks

MSCI Inc. (MSCI), a leading provider of investment decision support tools worldwide, and IPD Group Limited ("IPD") confirmed today that they are engaged in exclusive advanced discussions regarding MSCI's potential acquisition of IPD.

There can be no assurances that any agreement will be reached or that a transaction will be completed.

We will have no further comment until an agreement is reached or the discussions are terminated.
