Watkins brings with him over twelve years of telecommunications and high-speed enterprise expertise in global financial markets. Prior to joining Perseus Telecom, he was the founder and managing director of CC-Speed, a New York based consulting firm focused on the business development and marketing of financial services applications and technology that accelerates trading performance. Watkins brings a strong market intelligence portfolio and experience working with the drivers of the sub-millisecond world including leading stock and derivatives exchanges, investment banks, asset managers and the technology vendors that they rely on for transmission of services.

Watkins has bolstered market leadership for companies such as Solace Systems, Telx, Sidera Networks, XtremeData, CMA and BT Radianz. While at BT Radianz, he helped to build a network platform of more than 50 global exchanges and over 400 service providers to reach thousands of end-users around the world. Prior to BT Radianz, Watkins was recognized as one the most productive Global Sales Managers at Verizon/MCI handling a global account responsibility of $100M in annual revenue including accounts such as Telerate, the American Stock Exchange and Nasdaq OMX.
