BPC Banking Technologies, the leading provider of Open System e-payment solutions for the global financial industry, announces today the launch of a new solution specifically designed to meet the needs of the microfinance industry.

SmartVista for Microfinance has been designed to help microfinance institutions (MFIs) address the key business and information technology challenges involved in providing high quality and affordable financial services to low-income households worldwide. Not only does the fully functional and extremely flexible solution support individual and solidarity lending approaches, provide extremely flexible repayment options, and help reach customers in remote locations by supporting agents and remote customer remittance, but SmartVista for Microfinance delivers a cost-effective solution for MFIs.

SmartVista for Microfinance builds on the solid, secure and scalable foundation provided by SmartVista, BPC's end-to-end e-payments solution. Used by some of the world's most innovative financial institutions on 5 continents, SmartVista's visionary design combines the latest technologies with full functionality to help customers rapidly deliver a full range of e-payments services across all channels. SmartVista for Microfinance will enable MFIs to provide their customers with a comprehensive range of products and services via technologies and channels they are already familiar with. And crucially, SmartVista for Microfinance will help MFIs deliver products and services at a price point that supports their business needs.

Commenting on the launch, Vasily Grigoriev, CEO BPC Banking Technologies said "With our track record of innovation, BPC is delighted to bring the benefits other industries have seen with SmartVista to the microfinance industry. We applaud the work MFIs do around the world in helping improve the quality of lives of hundreds of millions of people and we know that SmartVista for Microfinance will greatly assist them in their endeavours."
