Wipro Technologies, the Global Consulting, System Integration and Outsourcing Business of Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT), today announced that it has entered into a relationship with Swift (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication), the global provider of standardized and secure messaging services to more than 9000 financial institutions in 209 countries and territories.
Wipro has been selected to provide the technical qualification testing services for over 100 vendor applications that apply every year to the SWIFTReady Label program.
The SWIFTReady programme recognizes vendor products in their capacity to complement SWIFT messaging services, and to provide message processing automation in a SWIFT context. This certification is widely used and highly valued by SWIFT customers, helping them select third party products. Application vendors gain greater visibility and trust from the SWIFT community. Wipro will perform high end technical qualification testing, a vital component of the stringent SWIFT criteria around standards, connectivity and messaging services.
SWIFT operates the SWIFTReady programme to certify business applications and middleware compliance against SWIFT requirements, verify the expertise of SWIFT service providers, and validate security and resilience standards.
