Delta Informatique is pleased to announce the successful cutover, in one "big bang" for the whole network of 50+ branches, of Delta-Bank 9.1 at Banka Popullore (Societe Generale's subsidiary in Albania) in a ten months record time.
One of the largest and fastest growing bank in Albania, Banka Popullore started its core banking system implementation project with Delta Informatique in January 2009 with an ambitious golive date in the fourth quarter of 2009 considering that Delta-Bank had to be adapted and parameterized to meet Albanian regulations.
The switchover was performed on the 20th of October 2009, in time and in budget, with the full perimeter of the bank's activities running on Delta-Bank.

Banka Popullore joins a growing list of Central / Eastern Europe banking industry leaders where Delta-Bank has been recently implemented as in Bulgaria, Russia or Serbia. Other projects in this region are soon to be completed (Croatia) or planned for 2010/2011. All projects were completed at the banks' satisfaction, in spite of the complexity and the variety of regulations in this area.
