MCC, leading provider in financial process optimization, is very pleased to announce that Lactalis, the world's second-largest manufacturer of dairy products, has chosen Diapason, its new Treasury Management System, to provide its subsidiaries with a 100% Web solution, hosted by the Central Treasury, and completely integrated with the central treasury solution.

This solution will enable Lactalis to make significant productivity gains (automation in data flows - cash management, trade orders, business intelligence and consolidated reporting), and to drastically reduce costs, in terms of maintenance and administration (a single software centrally implemented, and accessible in a totally secured way through any Web browsers).

Moreover, Diapason will enable Lactalis to reduce its operational risks, thanks to the automation of the communication between subsidiaries and the central treasury, combined with a significant flexibility in the payment definition, trade validation and process control.

'The deployment of Diapason gives us the opportunity to put in place an efficient treasury centralization' said Olivier Savary, CFO of Lactalis. 'This solution provides our subsidiaries with a secured internet banking service. Consequently, we benefit from an enhanced control level on the activity of our subsidiary network, while deeply simplifying the daily business of local treasurers, and of our central back-office staff'.

Frédéric Saunier, head of business development, MCC, added: 'We are delighted about Lactalis becoming our client and partner. Treasury departments require a higher degree of control over the consolidated cash position, financing and FX exposure of the company. Lactalis will benefit from the fully integrated solution that will provide a foundation for workflow and automation improvements while helping to limit operational risks between the Central Treasury and its subsidiaries. It will allow to significantly reduce manual processing and ensure that quality data is available quickly to local and central treasurers'
