Bagshaw and Brown have both been recruited from specialist business consultancy Detica, and have combined experience that spans more than 30 years within financial services consultancy.

In his new role, Martin Bagshaw will deliver strategic consultancy to BCS's investment banking clients. He will also focus on new client-led propositions and developing new client relationships. Prior to joining BCS, he was an executive manager at Detica, with responsibility for business development, strategic consultancy projects and industry research. Bagshaw has 16 years experience in programme, project, and change management initiatives across a variety of products from the front to back office, including technology for the global investment banking community. He has previously held positions at Natwest, IBM, Capco, RBS, SWIFT and m.a.partners, working with the world's leading buy- and sell- side firms.

Collin Brown, who also joins from Detica, will work closely with BCS's clients, particularly in the areas of change management, back office operations and outsourcing strategies. Over the past 16 years he has been focused on delivering solutions to tier one financial institutions including JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank, HSBC and UBS. At Detica, Brown undertook a number of high-profile assignments including managing a $20 US million project that reinvented the processing functions of a bank utilising web-based technologies, middleware and settlement systems. He has project managed a number of trading and back office derivatives system implementations, as well as sourcing strategies and initiatives. He has also previously held roles at roles at m.a.partners, Deloitte Consulting, TCA Consulting and JP Morgan.
