Dow Jones Newswires and The Relegence Corporation today announced an agreement to develop and distribute "Dow Jones Total Coverage", a real-time intelligence platform for financial professionals.

Relegence, the de-facto standard of real-time automated intelligence, and Dow Jones Newswires, the leading provider of real-time news and information, will jointly develop and sell the custom news and information analysis solution.

"Dow Jones Total Coverage", scheduled for early 2006 release, will be powered by Relegence technology and will be the most comprehensive source of Dow Jones content available. The new solution will enable users to sort, filter and customize the entire suite of Dow Jones content, including Dow Jones Newswires, The Wall Street Journal, Barron's and other Dow Jones products, as well as news and information from more than 12,500 sources aggregated by Relegence.

"Dow Jones Total Coverage" will deliver to users' desktops sorted, filtered results with minimum latency. The user-friendly platform will equip traders, analysts, institutional sales and other financial professionals with the necessary technology to meet today's demanding business requirements.

"With so many sources available, finding the information that is relevant and offers an edge is a challenge for financial professionals," said Paul Ingrassia, president, Dow Jones Newswires. "Dow Jones Total Coverage will be a customizable intelligence solution that analyzes Dow Jones' market-leading news and information against our customers' personalized profiles, identifying relevant, actionable market intelligence."

"We are excited to partner with Dow Jones, a powerful force in the financial news and information industry, to bring to market a service that will showcase our cutting-edge technology and premier market-moving content," said Steve Fadem, president and CEO, Relegence. "By giving the financial community real-time access to targeted news and information pertinent to their business, we are equipping them to make better business decisions. This is a solution that makes sense in today's information society—relevant information without information overload."
