Origo sees the development of XForms as an opportunity to move the industry from its own forms description language, ISML, to a more widely supported, open standard.

XForms clearly separates purpose of data from presentation and results, thus providing support for reuse, accessibility, and device independence.
Origo is holding an Industry briefing to provide attendees with the information they need to judge for themselves the benefits and business justification for adopting XForms as part of their technology infrastructure. The event is to be held on Tuesday 6th April 2004, hosted by IBM at their South Bank facility in London.

A number of XForms experts will be presenting on the day, from organisations including IBM, Focus, Novell, Point Solutions, Polaris, Practiv, W3C and x-port. The event will provide an opportunity to ask questions of leading experts, including members of the W3C XForms Working Group.

* Benefits of XForms to the enterprise
* Benefits of XForms to the user
* Case study of XForms usage and implementation
* Current state of the XForms marketplace
