Paymetric adds Sommerio and Ferguson to executive team

Paymetric, the leading provider of integrated and secure enterprise payment acceptance solutions, today announced it has added Nick Sommerio, chief financial officer and Kevin Ferguson, senior vice president of business development, to the company's executive management team.

Sommerio brings to Paymetric more than 20 years of experience in the financial services and electronic payment industries. He joins Paymetric most recently from RBS WorldPay where he was chief financial officer for the past two years. During his time at RBS WorldPay he played an intricate part in helping the company become one of the fastest organically growing merchant acquirers in the U.S. for 2008. As chief financial officer, Sommerio will be focused on all of the company's financial functions as well as corporate strategy.

"We are very excited to add Nick to the Paymetric team," said Larry Wine, chief executive officer for Paymetric. "His electronic payment industry expertise coupled with his proven strengths as chief financial officer for some of the industry's largest and most reputable players will prove invaluable to Paymetric's overarching strategy and growth."

Ferguson offers Paymetric his 23-year track record of achievement in international and domestic field operations, business development, enterprise software sales management, strategic market development, product management and consulting sales. He most recently was senior vice president and managing director of global field operations for SunGard Banks where he oversaw the product management and market strategy for the company's retail banking line of business. Ferguson will be responsible for building channel partner programs and relationships with ERP companies, system integrators and other technology partners interested in leveraging Paymetric's best-of-breed payment processing solutions.

"Kevin brings an extremely valuable amount of business development experience to the table," said Wine. "His financial industry expertise and knowledge of enterprise software sales will be a critical factor in our continued success."
