MSIT-EXIN becomes part of IBM banking industry framework

The banking software MSIT-EXIN has become part of the IBM Banking Industry Framework.

This smart solution supports the handling of Exceptions & Investigations. Thereby, financial institutions with IBM platforms now will be provided with certified software for tasks that are currently often still carried out manually.

The solution was developed by MSIT, an Austrian IT company focusing on banking solutions, in particular for exceptions and investigations and for the SWIFT business areas. The company is active in Austria, Germany and Central and Eastern Europe. MSIT distributes its E&I solution worldwide via reliable business partners.

MSIT-EXIN was closely examined in the IBM Innovation Centre in Zurich. At the same time, the software meets the SWIFT standards for Exceptions & Investigations and has qualified as a "SWIFT Ready Application for Exceptions and Investigations".

"Banks with an IBM infrastructure can now use a user-friendly solution for E&I, that has been certified by both IBM and SWIFT", explains Josef Steindl, CEO of MSIT. "Thereby, MSIT provides financial institutions now a state-of-the-art software to support the automation of Exceptions & Investigations."

Furthermore, MSIT-EXIN also was awarded the IBM seal of approval "Ready for DB2". As the software can manage pure XML documents, it even is approved in the extended version for "Pure XML". The company has moved up to an "IBM Advanced Business Partner". At the SWIFT trade fair SIBOS, which took place in September in Hong Kong, MSIT exhibited at the IBM stand.

"We are looking forward to an intensive cooperation with MSIT", says Christian Witschel, IBM Client Unit Executive, Financial Services Sector. "With MSIT-EXIN, there is now a scalable end-to-end solution for Exceptions & Investigations in the IBM Banking Industry Framework, which is a valuable complement to this architecture."
