SocGen Corporate & Investment Banking names Christophe Hioco COO

Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking announced the appointment of Christophe Hioco as Chief Operating Officer.

In this newly created position, his primary focus will be to provide optimal allocation of the scarce resources as well as driving the transformation of Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking operational model. His remit includes the direct supervision of Resource functions (Operations, IT, Finance) and the management of operational risk via the Security and Anti-Fraud Expertise team.

Based in Paris, he is a member of the CIB restricted Executive Committee and of the Group's General Management Committee. He reports directly to Michel Péretié, CEO of Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking.

"Christophe Hioco's background and skills will be instrumental in the continued strengthening of our operational efficiency and security; this will enable us to reach our target to implement the highest standards in this area, and to provide our clients with a quality of service", said Michel Péretié.
